In Kevin’s room:
(Kevin is sitting on his bed with a girl with long black hair and pale skin)
Kevin: I haven’t seen you in forever Jessica
Jessica: I know. I missed you
Kevin (looks down at his hands): Yeah
Jessica: What’s wrong?
Kevin: Uh, nothing
Jessica: Well maybe this could help
(She kisses Kevin)
In Danielle’s room:
(Danielle is still on her computer when she hears Mrs. Jonas call her name)
Danielle (pauses her ipod): Yeah?
Mrs. J: Could you help me with dinner?
Danielle: Sure, be right down
(She puts her computer on her bed and then walks out. She walks past Kevin’s room but then stops and goes back when she notices she saw Kevin kissing another girl)
Danielle (eyes getting teary): How could you Kevin! I thought you loved me?!
(He stops kissing Jessica and sees Danielle. He tries to go after her but she is already running downstairs. On the steps she runs into Joe and they fall down a couple steps to the bottom. She ends up on top of Joe at the bottom with him looking up at her)
Joe: Awkward!
(Then Kevin comes running down the steps to see Danielle on top of Joe. When Danielle sees Kevin, she starts kissing Joe)
Kevin: Danielle!
Danielle (in between kisses): Leave me alone!
(Joe kisses her back not thinking about Kevin but wanting so badly for this moment to be real. When Danielle stops kissing Joe after a long time, she turns around to see Kevin with tears streaming down his face. He tries to cover it up by wiping them but too many tears are coming)
Kevin (looking at Jessica who came down when Kevin did): This is all your fault!
(Then he runs upstairs to his room and slams the door. Joe puts his hands on Danielle’s waste and continues kissing her still on the floor)
Jessica: I’m so confused
(Then Nick comes down the steps)
Nick: Oh hey Jessica! I haven’t seen you in a long…
(Then he sees Danielle and Joe on the floor)
Nick: … Whoa. When did this happen? And why isn’t it me?!
Jessica: I have no idea, but it’s a little awkward…
(Danielle stops kissing Joe)
Joe: Amazing…
Nick: So not fair!
(Then Joe looks at Nick)
Joe: What?
Nick (points to Joe then Danielle): Since when?!
Joe: Like 2 minutes ago
Nick: How?!
Joe: We fell down the stairs and she landed on top of me and started kissing me, don’t ask why because I have no idea but I don’t care either
Nick: Soooo unfair!
Danielle: Sorry Nick, he was the first one I saw
Nick: Wait, what about Kevin?
Danielle: It seems like he’s moved on to…
(She looks at Jessica, more like glares)
Danielle: … Someone else
(Then she gets up off Joe and pulls him up with her by his shirt. She takes him to her room where they sit on the window seat and Joe looks into Danielle’s eyes)
Joe: I can’t believe this
Danielle: Why not?
Joe: I’ve been jealous of Kevin for 4 months now, and finally, it’s gonna be the other way around
Danielle (smiles): Yeah
(They start kissing again but then Joe stops her)
Danielle: What’s wrong?
Joe: Danielle, this… I can’t do it
Danielle: Why not?
Joe: Because, well, why aren’t you with Kevin anymore?
Danielle: Why does it matter?
Joe: Because I want to know
Danielle: Well, if you have to know, I caught Kevin kissing Jessica in his room
(She starts getting teary eyes again and Joe wraps her in a tight hug)
Joe: I’m sure there’s some explanation for this like aliens from Jupiter have come and kidnapped Kevin and then taken the form of him to ruin his relationship!
Danielle: This is no time for joking Joe!
Joe (puts his arms in the air): Who’s joking?!
Danielle: No Joe! You just don’t get it
Joe: What don’t I get?!
Danielle: How I feel!
Joe: What? Like you want to go bungee jumping without the bungee? Or skydiving without a parachute? Maybe, take a mother bears cub or tiger or lion or any other animal that would hunt you down and kill you slowly and painfully rather than be in your shoes right now? Yeah, been there, done that. And if you can’t see that Kevin still loves you, then I can’t love you either
(Joe walks out of her room and Danielle starts bawling on her bed)
Oh-no! What will Danielle do? Will Kevin ever get her back? Will he even want her back? Will she want HIM back? What will happen? Find out in the next chapter!
